OVERVIEW

The Iranian-American Legal Defense Fund (IALDF) is a non-profit dedicated to protecting and empowering Iranians in the United States. Its mission is to safeguard civil and political rights, eliminate discrimination, and create pathways for education and economic success, ensuring that every Iranian American can thrive and contribute to a more just and inclusive society. Through advocacy, legal support, and community engagement, IALDF mobilizes resources to defend vulnerable immigrants and strengthen opportunities for the broader community.

MY ROLE

I led a two-week design and development sprint to establish IALDF’s digital presence at a critical moment when immediate action was needed to support Iranian immigrants. My work included designing the brand’s visual language with subtle Persian patterns and colors to resonate with the target audience, primarily donors within the Persian-speaking community. I designed and built a responsive website that highlighted the organization’s mission, facilitated fundraising, and amplified its advocacy efforts. The site enabled IALDF to quickly garner donor support and expand its impact.
